Traverse Angels is an invitation-only, select network of successful entrepreneurs, professionals as well as business and community leaders in the Traverse City, Michigan area, who provide investment capital, strategic advice and mentoring to early-stage companies to help them achieve market leadership.  Traverse Angels will seek to develop a balanced investment portfolio of early-stage, technology and non-technology companies and “quality” deal flow from the greater Traverse City region and beyond.

 The mission of the Traverse Angels network is two fold: to identify and help grow early-stage companies and the local economic base of the Traverse City, MI geographic region; and to provide its members with exceptional “quality” deal flow and an outstanding financial return on their time commitment and invested capital.    

 Traverse Angels is unique, when compared to other Angel investor networks in Michigan, in that Traverse Angels focuses on “quality” deal flow with both a local geographic footprint, in Traverse City, MI, as well as an extended and targeted geographic footprint.  This cross-geographic structure provides the Traverse Angels’ investors with unprecedented access “best-in-class” investment opportunities and does not limit their investments to any one specific geographic area, ensuring higher returns for the network investors.

 Traverse Angels members are founders, CEO’s and business and community leaders who work in conjunction to invest and grow world-class organizations.  Members mentor and coach the entrepreneurs they invest in, serve as board and advisory board members, provide contacts and assist the entrepreneur with team building, strategic planning and follow-on fund raising.
